Dr. Manu Arun MD
She runs a general pediatric clinic, a developmental center and kids activity center in Vadapalani. She also runs an integrated montessori nursery and kindergarten school in Nungambakkam ( a school for kids under 6, the school trains kids with special needs too).
She is a gold medalist in MD Pediatrics from Sri Ramachandra University and is trained in the Child Development Center in NIMHANS, Bangalore. She also holds a Diploma in Montessori and one in Special Education.
She has authored books on nutrition and play for parents. She is an executive board member of the Chennai Play School association.
Services provided in her Clinic by her team are Developmental assessments, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, hearing aid services, special education, psychological assessments and counselling. Her team consists of occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech and hearing pathologists, clinical psychologists and special educators. In her activity center karate, yoga, gymnastics, kalaripayittu, zumba, skating, silambaattam and chess is taught to kids in both premises. A learning center is run in both premises for regular, dyslexic and autistic kids by appropriate faculty.
